Mechanism of Action Study

Innate and Adaptive Immune System Stimulation

Research demonstrating that StroVac® increases phagocytic activity of macrophages and stimulates both innate and adaptive immune responses against urinary tract pathogens.

Frontiers in Immunology
2023Volume 14
DOI: 10.3389/fimmu.2023.1180785

Key Findings:

  • Increased release of cytokines TNF-α, IL-6, IL-12/23 p40, and IL-1β
  • Stimulated phagocytosis of E. coli in dose-dependent manner
  • Effects independent of LPS contamination
  • Non-toxic up to 30 mg/l concentration
  • Builds trained innate immunity against bacterial pathogens

UTI Prevention Guide

Simple Steps for Better Health

Through simple preventive measures, you can maximize the reduction of urinary tract infection risk.

Precious Health

Many recommended medical services may not be included in statutory health insurance coverage.

If you don't have statutory health insurance, you can still access this type of treatment by paying out of pocket, and then apply for reimbursement from your doctor's services.

Therefore, it's sometimes worth consulting with your health insurance company about possible personal cost reimbursement.

If your doctor recommends reimbursable treatment costs for private health insurance companies, you should consult your doctor or health insurance company in advance.

Prevention Tips for Bladder Infections

5 Essential Guidelines

1

Regular Bladder Emptying

Drink at least 2 liters per day to flush out newly appeared bacteria. Don't delay going to the toilet, otherwise bacteria will remain in the urinary tract for unnecessary time.

2

Keep Warm

Keep abdomen, feet and back warm through hot water bottles, cherry pit pillows, etc. Cold weakens the immune system and promotes bladder infections.

3

Good Hygiene Practices

Always clean from front to back after bowel movements to avoid cross-infection. For intimate care, it's best to use warm water, and if necessary, use special intimate wash to avoid damaging the skin's acidic protective barrier.

4

Prevent Overcooling

Immediately remove wet swimwear and avoid sitting on cold surfaces (stone, metal, etc.) especially for girls.

5

Post-Intimacy Care

Go to the toilet directly after intimacy. This flushes out bacteria that may have entered the urinary tract through urination.

Stay Hydrated

Drink 2L+ Daily
